Summary notes

Feared by her own clan, Victoria is sent to marry the Lion Chief—a husband she has never met. His two motherless daughters cling to her, while his family smiles too sweetly and guards a locked storage cave.

When Victoria discovers the girls are being abused and the chief’s fortune has vanished, she starts a war inside the lion’s den. But why did the distant Lion Chief choose her from the start?
