The man found himself trapped in a dire situation—his family shattered, his home destroyed. To make matters worse, an unscrupulous creditor, Cha Chai, attempted to coerce him into sacrificing his wife's dignity to repay the debt. Just as tragedy seemed inevitable, Wei Zongyi, the upright leader of the Dragon Pavilion, stepped forward to intervene. With unwavering courage, he thwarted the sinister scheme, rescuing the woman from humiliation and despair.

Wei Zongyi's actions did not stop there. He boldly rejected the wealth obtained through dubious means by a powerful trade syndicate, refusing to compromise his principles. Instead, he made a solemn vow to safeguard the ordinary citizens, ensuring justice prevailed. His valor and integrity became a shining example of courage and integrity for those around him. However, tragedy struck Wei Zongyi personally when his father passed away unexpectedly. Amid his grief, his resolve only grew stronger. He vowed to protect the community and preserve their way of life, determined to prevent such suffering from repeating itself. Through his heroic deeds, Wei Zongyi became a local hero whose deeds were celebrated far and wide, earning the admiration and respect of all who knew his name.
