Aaliyah, an elderly rural woman, won $1. 5 million in the lottery. She went to the city to visit her distant children, only to be coldly treated. Her daughter-in-law Willow looked down on her, and the family was trapped in heavy payday loan debts.

Her adopted daughter and son-in-law seemed warm and kind on the surface, but they only cared about money. Aaliyah worked in a factory and learned true love could not be bought with endless giving. Later, she gave each of her two children 600,000 dollars, then returned to the countryside with the rest. There, she found peace and realized happiness lies in independence.
