To force Cindy to divorce him, her husband deliberately lets her catch him cheating on her. Heartbroken, Cindy is about to throw away her wedding ring when Kevin runs out of funds for an experiment and is kicked out of a hotel, mistaken for a homeless person. Cindy uses her ring to pay his bill, allowing Kevin's experiment to succeed.

Years later, he becomes a billionaire and sends people to find Cindy. The two overcome many trials and tribulations and finally live happily ever after.
